Sounds of Silence
In Spain, a still largely invisible reality is growing: approximately 14% of teenagers self-harm. This problem, due to a lack of support and emotional resources at this stage of life, and especially because of the taboo that still surrounds it among adults, continues to be insufficiently addressed in schools.
Faced with this reality, the research group COMKIDS at Rey Juan Carlos University launched “Sounds of Silence” (SOS), a campaign created to raise awareness about self-harm in adolescents.
